Industry Mourns Jeanne Carroll

The home decor industry is mourning the recent loss of Jeanne Carroll, Director of Advertising at Feizy Rugs. Carroll and her daughter, Janice Leigh Hill, were the victims of a domestic violence incident committed by Hill’s estranged husband in Far East Dallas, Texas.

Carroll, who joined Feizy Rugs in 1995, was pivotal in the creation of the company’s award-winning Feizy Home Collection Catalogue and in securing Feizy’s recognition by the Accessories Resource Team (ART) as Area Rug Manufacturer of the Year.

In a statement, Feizy Rugs said of Carroll: “Hands-on from the beginning to the end of each project, she was admired and respected by her peers and colleagues as a consummate professional. Her extensive product knowledge and professional drive made her an indispensable resource not only to the Feizy Rugs family, but also within the area rug industry. Jeanne will be remembered for her fierce love of her family, the pride she took in her work and her infectious laugh. She was an inspirational leader to her Feizy Rugs staff members and colleagues with a vibrant, larger-than-life personality. She will be missed deeply by all.”
